Paint the beautiful Wye Valley with Tim

O'Brien in Any Media.

We will paint a mixture of subjects

including buildings in the landscape at

places like Tintern Abbey, Tintern Old

Station, Tintern Parva and St. Briavel's.

We will also paint boats, water and

reflections at Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow,

Lydney Harbour and Cannop Ponds.

Subjects will include castles, old ruins,

bridges, cottages and villages.

Painting with Tim, you will start the day

where he will show you what can be

achieved and then he will do a demo. He

usually starts with some quick sketches

to work out a composition, as well as

taking reference photographs to

capture the light before it changes. Tim

will offer everyone individual advice and

guidance.

As he likes to work quickly, you will also

have the chance to observe him

working on other drawings and

paintings where he will offer additional

support with tips and knowledge from

his 40 years experience as a full-time

artist.

At the end of each day, we will all have

the chance to collectively display work

where Tim, with his relaxed, friendly

delivery will offer feedback and a

closing summary of the day's session.
