Join Catherine on this opportunity to

paint watercolours in a unique and loose

style in The Beautiful Lake District

where we will paint lakes, mountains

and rivers around Windermere.

We will paint at selected secluded spots

around Lake Windermere such as

Waterhead and Fell Foot Park plus we

will paint at places such as Elterwater in

the Langdale Valley, Hawkshead or

Cartmel. There is plenty of subject

matter at Stott Park Bobbin Mill and

Sizergh Castle, south of Windermere.

We will paint a selection of bridges,

waterfalls, cascading rivers, rocks,

villages, churches and castles. There is

so much choice of subjects to paint.

We will sketch on location using pen and

wash for short periods and spend the

bulk of our time in the studio using her

innovative 'gravity painting' techniques

which we will do on rigid artboard. She

will provide all the tuition required to

guide you through this unique approach

which will give you an insight to a

different approach. She will provide

plenty of support and her courses are

fun and thoroughly absorbing.
