Within a few minutes from the hotel are many beautiful painting locations around Lake Windermere and the
hotel is ideally positioned to reach places in the Southern Lakes to as well as, North Windermere and The
Langdale Valley. Subjects include lakes, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, bridges, villages, castles, boats,
boathouses and jetties. It is such a wild and majestic place. Within the hotel grounds is a fascinating Lakeland
Model Village with over 100 buildings which makes for an interesting spot to study perspective for drawing
buildings which give a stnding perspective whilst seated. There is plenty of subject matter at Stott Park
Bobbin Mill and Sizergh Castle, south of Windermere.
Arrival is from 2pm on the arrival date and the course introduction is at 6pm on the arrival date.
We will leave the hotel at 9.30am each morning, have lunch around 1pm and finish at 4.30pm each day.
The course finishes at 4pm on the departure date.
The deposit is £225 per person.
Most courses cater for all abilities. However, if you are a complete beginner please call to discuss the best choice for you.
