Susannah Garland is a painter and
sculptor. In 2008, she went to live in
France. Within six months, she was
invited to stage an exhibition in her
village. Five exhibitions followed in the
next three years. A local hotel used one
of her paintings for publicity, which
encouraged her to develop a range of
postcards depicting life and landmarks
of Burgundy. This now numbers sixty
five images, which are sold as cards and
prints by shops, tourist offices, galleries,
restaurants and hotels in Burgundy.
She returns regularly to work there.
Her paintings are in collections
worldwide including the USA, the Far
East, Germany, Holland, France and of
course in the UK.
