Nicky uses traditional watercolour

methods in a loose & lively

contemporary style.

With her enthusiastic tuition,

demonstrations and tips on both the

technical and creative aspects of

painting in watercolour she will help

you elevate your understanding of this

challenging yet exciting medium to

achieve successful vibrant artworks.

The course is studio based using

photos & stunning silk blooms as

inspiration (possibly some fresh

flowers if the season and surrounding

inspiration permits).

Although the subject is florals, this is

not a botanical study course. Students

who have done some botanical study

and wish to explore loosening up and

being more expressive with their work

will benefit. Equally the subject on this

course is floral but many of the

techniques and methods can be

transferred to other subject matter.
