Learn to Paint Horses, Dogs and other

Animal Portraits in Oils. The course will

predominantly be about horses but Mike

will also cover painting dogs and other

animal portraits of your choice.

All reference material will be supplied

along with specific mediums for classical

painting. Mike always works with a

limited palette so there is no need to

buy a large range of paints.

You can choose whether to just paint

dogs or you can choose to paint more

than one type of animal across the 3

days, if you want.

However, if you have any reference

material of a particular animal that you

would like to bring and paint from then

please feel free to do so. If you want to

paint an animal other than a horse or a

dog, please check the suitability of

painting your chosen animal on this

course.

Mike is a very encouraging teacher and

will help you build on your

achievements. He will help with

demonstrations, advice and

encouragement to build your confidence

and equip you with all the knowledge

you need to take what you learn

forward.
