Paint the beautiful Wye Valley with

Michael Holter in waterolour where we

will paint exciting impressionistic

paintings and explore the use of light

and shadow to create interesting

compositions with dynamic results.

We will paint the River Wye with a

selection of Symonds Yat, Ross-on-

Wye, Tintern Abbey or Old Station and

the surrounding countryside including

castles, old ruins, bridges, cottages

and villages.

Michael will explain and show you the

fundamentals of watercolour painting

to ensure that you are familiar with the

techniques he uses. Michael will

demonstrate his approach to creating

his award-winning landscapes and

provide plenty of one-to-one tuition.

He will include the principles and

elements of design that will be woven

into your painting experience. You will

work through the steps required to

select the best scene that will give you

the results you desire while learning

how to eliminate what is not necessary

for a good painting.
