Lynton-Parmar-Hemsley has been a full
time artist for over 30 years. He trained
as a commercial illustrator and has
worked in Manchester and London as a
storyboard artist and illustrator.
Throughout that time he continued to
produce his own paintings, showing his
work at the Wendy Levy Gallery and
Collin Jellico Gallery in Manchester.
Apart from the occasional book cover
commission he now devotes all his
working time to figure and landscape
painting. He has, however, also had
considerable success as a portrait artist,
attracting several high profile
commissions including one from the
Bush family in the USA to create a
portrait of their daughter Barbara. He
now lives in the beautiful countryside of
North Yorkshire with his even more
beautiful wife, Nita.
He has also competed in and become a
finalist in Sky Arts 'Portrait' and
'Landscape Artist of the Year'.
