Cecil studied Fine Art Painting at
Brighton College of Art in the eighties
and has painted professionally ever
since with seascapes and landscapes
being his main preoccupation.
Watercolour was his first passion. He
was given a box of artist's colours at
the age of thirteen by his father. The
purity of the colours was hypnotic and
he loved the beauty that could be
produced. His other passion was oil
painting with its power, richness and
texture and more recently acrylic too.
Cecil is an experienced art tutor and
demonstrator and has a wealth of
knowledge on art techniques and art
history. His teaching is delivered in his
inimitable engaging style and he can
enable artists of all abilities to improve
their paintings.
