 Behind the Scenes - We thoroughly research all the holiday destinations and painting locations individually to ensure that whatever destination you choose they will meet the criteria of what you expect from a painting holiday.

We ensure that all hotels have comfortable en-suite accommodation and we ensure that at each painting location there will be plenty of choice with all the necessary facilities from options of what to paint, where to eat and are easily accessible.

We also check out all our tutors very well and look at their painting styles and teaching styles in depth before selecting a tutor. We realise that you need a tutor who is both a good artist and a good tutor and one suitable for tutoring a holiday with students at all levels of ability and expectation for what they want from a holiday.

During the Holiday - we are on location and at the hotel during the course to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Matt & Gill lead all the holidays in Jersey/Europe and many of the UK holidays especially new Destinations and new Tutors to ensure all runs smoothly but they now have additional help since the holidays have grown as they have. For many years Andrew, the hotelier at Simonsbath House Hotel, has been leading most of the holidays in Exmoor but we now have Shelagh & John assisting with other UK holidays.

We ensure that your accommodation and meals including special requirements are catered for.

In the UK, we can pick you up from selected stations if you are coming by public transport and also provide transport throughout the holiday. We also make sure that easels, boards and chairs are provided for those who don’t have them.

Whilst abroad, we provide for airport transfers and include all transport for the duration of your holiday.

During the day we will bring everything you need to your easel including teas and coffees, drinking water, paint water and any other painting accessories should you need them.  We then take care of all your equipment whilst you go into lunch where ever possible and so on many occasions you don’t even need to pack up when you have lunch and drinks. (This is subject to the painting location)

This means that not only can you concentrate on painting but so can the tutor, so they are not distracted by the day-to-day practicalities and those little unexpected incidences that can occasionally happen to guests on a holiday. This frees up their time and their mind to concentrate on their job…tutoring you, whilst we can concentrate on our job….looking after you, and you can concentrate on your job….having an enjoyable holiday!
