Join Kevin Scully on this opportunity to

paint Castles and Canals of the Usk

Valley plus landscapes of

Monmouthshire in any media.

We will paint along the Brecon and

Monmouth Canal at Goytre Wharf,

Castles such as Caldicott and/or Raglan,

the Monnow Bridge in Monmouth plus

Welsh Heritage Site, Blaenavon

Ironworks with its traditional cottages

and remnants of an industrial past. The

grounds around the hotel with the lake,

reflections, streams and trees with their

dappled sunlight make for a great

subject as well as painting landscapes,

valleys and lakes giving plenty of variety

of painting subjects.

Kevin is enthusiastic and creative, using

demonstrations and one-to-one tuition

to help students gain confidence and

develop as individuals.

His own distinctive style has developed

in recent years and his aim is always to

say as much as possible as simply as

possible. In his paintings there is a

sense of realism with the feeling of

atmosphere and his pictures are

executed with as little fuss and detail as

possible and he will help you achieve

this in your paintings.
