Vale of Llangollen, North Wales
There is some magnificent scenery in and around Llangollen which sits in the Vale of Llangollen by the River
Dee in Denbighsire. There are many places to paint within a short drive from the hotel. The hotel is situated
just a few minutes walk from some beautiful views of the River Dee. There is a park called Victoria Promenade
on the banks of the river where it is possible to get down onto the rocks in the river. Within Llangollen there is
one of our painting locations called "Plas Newydd & The Ladies of Llangollen " a beautiful gothic style black and
white building with views of Castell Dinas Bran, ruins of a medieval castle, on the hillside behind. There is also
the ruins of Valle Crucis Abbey & Eliseg's Pillar, the magnificent Chirk Castle with its beautiful gardens and
Llangollen canal at Pontcysyllte.
Arrival is from 2pm on the arrival date and the course introduction is at 6pm on the arrival date.
We will leave the hotel at 9.30am each morning, have lunch around 1pm and finish at 4.30pm each day.
The course finishes at 4pm on the departure date.
The deposit is £225 per person.
Most courses cater for all abilities. However, if you are a complete beginner please call to discuss the best choice for you.
