Paint with Jantien Powell in and
around Dartmoor National Park, where
you will paint cascading rivers with
rocks, panoramic moorland views and
beautiful moorland villages.
There are many stunning locations on
Dartmoor including Dartmeet, Two
Bridges & Haytor plus the villages of
Widecombe-in-the-Moor, North Bovey,
Holne & Lustleigh.
There is also the beautiful grounds of
Buckfast Abbey.
Through a mixture of full blown
paintings and sketching Jantien will
lead you step-by-step through your
painting with plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
She will tutor in Acrylics and Pastels.
We will spend some days painting full-
blown paintings on location through
step-by-step guidance.
Other days we will produce plenty of
sketches around a particular location.
These sketches can be in watercolour,
pen, pencil or charcoal and can be
done alongside Jantien or you can
choose other subjects to paint. Either
way she will give you plenty of 1-2-1
tuition.
Then we will spend some time in the
studio with any/mixed media
producing full blown paintings from the
sketches produced on location earlier.
With the mixture of these 3 distinct
approaches you will learn a lot of
diverse approaches from Jantien and
with her friendly and approachable
style you are sure to learn a lot from
her whilst having a lot of fun too.
